SCL has evolved with the changing pattern of payment preferences in the travel industry, our automation services having first concentrated on paper travellers cheques and banknotes and more recently, and increasingly, prepaid travel funds cards.
As a supplier and issuer independent system, users are able to source foreign currency and prepaid products from the complete range of companies in the market, enabling the negotiation of competitive deals.

What about the risk of fraud?
UltraPoS is configurable to enable our customers to be fully compliant with the standards of the foreign exchange processing market and can be readily customised to reflect the local regulatory requirements. It meets Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements by capturing and verifying information through links to external agencies to give business owners greater protection against money laundering.
For added security, the access to the system can be controlled via user permissions on a "need to do" basis. Lastly, UltraPoS has strong compliance reporting facilities both for our customers' own purposes and mandatory reporting to regulators.
What else can UltraPoS do?
UltraPoS can manage and sell a wide range of products in addition to foreign currency, travellers cheques and prepaid cards. Sundry items (anything from phone cards, travel guides and maps to more unusual items such as fishing licences) can also be managed and sold using the same software, giving you and your staff the opportunity to cross-sell to customers.
