SCL's Global Success Spells New Revenue For Local Travel Agents And Sussex Bureaux De Change
Brighton-based SCL, has had worldwide success with its UltraPoS product and service, now a new version is being launched locally, to bring additional revenue to independent Travel Agents and other small businesses in the region.
The new UltraPoS Small Business Edition (USBE) is being unveiled at two workshops at the Thistle Hotel in Brighton, on October 29th 2009 at 2pm and 6pm.
USBE automatically manages the sale and stock management of foreign exchange and travellers cheques. SCL's new offering has been designed specifically for small and independent organisations who may wish to offer a travel money service.
USBE is a standardised version of SCL's original and unrivalled UltraPoS, whose current customers include (but not limited to) TUI UK Plc, HSBC, Hays Travel and Channel Islands Co-operative Society.
Ray Stanton, Managing Director of SCL says: "We have specially configured the USBE service to help make additional profits and maximise revenue for small and independent organisations. We realise what a tough climate these companies are facing, so a relatively small investment can help them reap significant benefits and rapidly increase profits. It will help them offer either a brand new service to consumers, or completely revolutionise their current travel money offering.
"We wanted local business to be the first to hear about the new revenue potential, so SCL is holding the two workshops in Brighton, after testing the appetite for the product among a wide range of local businesses.
"Businesses who should attend the workshops include: independent travel agents, small retailers, independent bureaux de change and retailers offering travel money services.
Early next year we are planning a Roadshow for USBE in a number of cities across the country, but wanted local Sussex business owners to see it first," says Stanton.
USBE eliminates time consuming manual processes, speeds up transaction times and reduces losses caused by human error, all providing a better customer experience. With a range of real-time reports available from monitoring transactions to calculating profit and loss, USBE provides the retailer with a holistic view of their business.
