SCL Announces New UltraPoS Features

New market leading applications for the world renowned UltraPoS system will be announced by SCL at the PrePaid Expo in Las Vegas on Feb 21-24.

SCL's highly successful UltraPoS Prepaid and Foreign Exchange (FX) system now has a broad variety of applications appealing to retailers, shopping mall owners, retail banks, card programme operators, travel companies and other value added solution providers.

Demonstrations of SCL's hand-held mobile sales solution will feature on the stand, for the first time. Utilising a GPRS or 3G enabled device for a wireless link and an ultra small printer and swipe unit, visitors will be able to see just how simple and quick it is to load prepaid cards on the move, 24/7, via the UltraPoS system.

Also on show at the SCL booth will be a Kiosk featuring the Giftwise solution from Self Service Networks. The convenient, cost effective and self-service gift card purchasing service allows retailers, or mall owners, to sell prepaid gift cards without the need for a staffed point-of-sale. This further emphasises the broad spectrum of applications and access points available through UltraPoS.

SCL is also launching its real-time statistics service, providing unique and bespoke data, gleaned from the many million prepaid cards that SCL process each year.
