Deployment and Support Engineer - Permanent (January 2010)
We are looking for a Deployment and Support Engineer to work in our Brighton-based office. The successful candidate will be working in a small department delivering deployment and level 1,2 support for our international client base.
The role will involve configuration, setup and deployment of customer requirements, maintenance of production servers and solving client problems. This will include occasional out of 'normal' office working hours and may include occasional travel.
The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of Unix, Shell Scripting, SQL and databases combined with good customer communication skills.
Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, HTML, XML, MS Access, MySQL, VBA, JavaScript, C++, web servers and an understanding of the Travel Money industry would be an advantage.

Automation Developer/Scripter - Permanent (January 2010)
Continual new-business acquisition means that we have a vacancy for a developer/scripter. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the automation of a UNIX based production environment through the deployment of coded modules or shell scripts. The role will involve working within a Support and Rollout department and interfacing with the development department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation of support and rollout tasks
- Enhancements and Implementation of Application wrappers/augmenters.
- Small to Large projects. Occasional outside normal business hours tasks
- Initial projects involving PCI and Security.
Qualifications:
No formal qualifications are required if the candidate has experience in the area.
Required Experience:
- Knowledge of or experience of working in a PCI & Security aware environment
- Experience of working in a Commercial Service Provider environment
- Structured working practices including ticketing systems and documentation.
Required Skills:
- Unix power user (preferably Solaris)
- Shell & Other Unix Scripting (sed, awk etc)
- SQL and relational databases
Desirable Skills:
- C++, Java applets, Java script
